Leaderless PKR Sabah call for autonomy

Eighteen out of 26 PKR divisions in the state agreed on holding a secret ballot soon on whether party chief Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail should continue to head the state chapter.

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah PKR chiefs, by an overwhelming majority, have reportedly endorsed an informal plan to “demand full autonomy for the state chapter from the party headquarters”.

PKR still searching for its Sabah Chief

A former Umno leader is among the names being tossed to take over Sabah PKR.

KOTA KINABALU: Discord within Sabah PKR continues to frustrate efforts to install a local as party leader in Sabah, a post now held temporarily by PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

Azizah took over as the Sabah interim chief on Feb 6, replacing Pajudin Nordin who quit the party last year and joined Umno after falling out of favour with division chiefs barely a month after he was appointed.

Saya keliru kenapa SAPP tidak akan mengeluarkan sebarang kenyataan keras bagi membalas kenyataan pakar stretegi PKR, Datuk Karim Ghani bahawa SAPP perlu menyertai Pakatan Rakyat dengan alasan lapuk bahawa parti tempatan Sabah tidak berkesan.

SAYA, Jain Bin Bayang, Ahli Jawatankuasa Cabang Batu Sapi yang baru dipilih pada 18 Jun 2011, dengan penuh keinsafan dan rendah hati, menggesa agar jawatan Pengerusi PKR Negeri Sabah dipegang oleh rakyat Sabah sendiri kerana sokongan moral rakyat semakin terhakis sejak dipegang oleh Majlis Presiden.

Sebagai ahli parti, kami amat malu dan berkecil hati dengan kecaman media dan pemimpin Barisan Nasional berhubung kepimpinan PKR Negeri Sabah, seolah-olah Sabah ketandusan pemimpin untuk mengemudi PKR.

Sabah PKR full force with Dr. Wan Azizah

PENAMPANG: Pakatan Rakyat (PR) will do its best to ensure the coalition is engaged in a straight fight against Barisan Nasional (BN) in Sabah in the forthcoming 13th General Election.Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Vice-President, Fuziah Salleh, said PR would make a serious effort to realise this aspiration and give BN a tough frght in the election.

"In the interest of PR, we, together with our coalition partners and others who view BN as their enemy, will join forces and ensure a one-on-one battle with BN with the hope of toppling the ruling coalition.

SAPP seeks clarification on PR status

Kota Kinabalu, March 15, 2011: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) Youth Leader Edward Dagul today seeks clarification from Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) on its policy that illegal immigrants will be given permanent residency (PR) status if Pakatan Rakyat forms the government as disclosed by PKR President.

"Illegals are illegals and as such, action should be taken to curb illegal immigration. If illegals are to be granted PR status, then even more illegals will be attracted to Sabah, adding to the woes of Sabah," said Dagul.

New Sabah PKR leadership expected in April


KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 15 — The protracted leadership crisis in Sabah PKR is expected to end in an April convention with the 11-man presidential council making way for a new state leadership.

Party deputy president Azmin Ali has confirmed that members of a new liaison committee for the troubled state chapter will be selected and appointed during the convention, likely to be held in the first week of the month.

The 'truth' behind PKR Sabah crisis

A lot more appears to be behind the latest controversy surrounding PKR Sabah - that of the defection of its less-than-a-month-old chief Pajudin Nordin, 40, to Umno last Saturday.

A leaked internal party report, sent to selected media via email late yesterday by one Anthony Mark, details a vicious power struggle between two groups, with the newly-minted state leader smack in the middle.
