SAPP: SAS Making a Big Loss of RM20 Million in Investment in 2011

SAPP Youth Exco Clement Lee demands an answer from UMNO led-BN Government and SAS investment team as to why it made a BIG LOSS of almost RM20 million (to be exact RM 19,870,833.00) in investments in 2011 as extracted from the SAS Annual Report 2011 on page 12?

He also demands an explanation as to what is “Realized Loss on sale of Investment”, amounting to RM 31 million (to be exact RM 31,124,228.00) as stated on page 22 of SAS Annual Report 2011.

There is no detail provided for this “Realized Loss on sale of Investment” in this report.

Does the SAS investment team have any expertise in investing in foreign securities like Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Thailand markets? He queried.

Furthermore, Datuk Dr. Yee Moh Chai has been relentlessly accusing former Chief Minister as the cause of SAS downfall during the years of 1997 and 1998. What he could not fathom doing is to improve the value of SAS, even after the course of 14 years? Clement Lee asked.

SAPP is committed to solving this problem faced by the over 50,000 investors that the UMNO led-BN government could not solve, even after 14 years from the Asian Financial Crisis in 1997-1998, plus the additional RM200 million government grant injected into SAS in recent years which was announced by Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Musa Aman, this has proven that the current UMNO led-BN government is simply incompetent and useless.

SAPP will issue the necessary White Paper to find out the root-cause of the downfall of SAS and reveal the truth to the public when we form the Sabah state government. We will also assist in elevating SAS to its original value, or even let it appreciate higher, to a value that it so rightfully deserves.

  1. SAPP can form the state government in the next world. This fella is taking Sabahans for nuts and learn from his early political days on how to tell and spread lies.

SAPP should be amused to find that BN is counting the days on SAPP demise and after the next GE it will only be the 'Yong' and the 'Lee' that are left behind to run the party.

Win or not win is with the people and if they vote so, then it is what they want. Batu Sapi is a test of all the betrayals, federal parties intervention, their might with $$$, so the people of Sabah has to choose between, their autonomy or being servants of the Malayans.

  16. SAPP is just a small Sabah party, at Batu Sapi by election the two national parties, BN and Pakatan went all out for the kill, PM, DPM, MBs, CMs, ministers attacked SAPP left right centre, and Loads of money, surprisingly, SAPP survived. Sabah still has hope because of having a party commited to fight for Sabah.

According to Securities Commission policy, only SAS Chairman and Board of Directors have the power to approve any buy and sell activities of SAS share and they are all UMNO members. Datuk Salleh was SAS chairman during that time and he signed BUTA kah?

What is got to do with SAPP?

Dalam undang2 SAS, semua jual-beli saham hanya boleh diluluskan oleh Board of Directors of SAS dan SAS Chairman. Bukan Ketua Menteri Sabah.

Sila baca undang2 UNIT TRUST sebelum kamu buat fitnah sama SAPP aje Batresiah.

Kerugian pada 2011 adalah berkenaan operasi syarikat sebelum 2011.

Apa kena mengena Saham Amerika dengan Amanah Saham Sabah? Jika kamu kata masalah kewangan Asia dalam 1997 menyebabkan kejatuhkan saham Sabah. Aku ler percaya.

and you should also explain the loss of sas during ytl tenure as cm of sabah.. try to explain it without blaming others..
    ------------------------------------------------------------------

According to Securities Commission of Malaysia Unit Trust Constitutions article 3.11, all the buying and selling of share only can be approved by Chairman of SAS. Who is the chairman of SAS in 1997? Everyone knew is Datuk Salleh. What is got to do with YTL, Head hunter?

Why UMNO Datuk Salleh keep quiet on this since he was SAS CHAIRMAN?

Even though a small time investor like me also knew who was the real culprit if not UMNO thief?

Please STOP fooling around with the SMART Sabahans and only to make yourself like a FOOL here, head hunter!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Headhunter is right.YTL was the CM and therefore must accept the blame and responsibility without blaming others.Shirking from his responsibility as CM looks bad.Blaming others is worst.YTL shouldn't be the CM anyway and that's the terrible mistake UMNO made, that is,putting a highly incompetent man as the CM.

Only the fools in SAPP still think YTL was not responsible. No need to shoeshine YTL lah because SAPP will be finished and close shop after GE13.

    ReplyDelete
  37. You were totally wrong Anak Petagas, Unit Trust is regulated by Securities Commission of Malaysia and every unit trust in Malaysia need to follow and adhere the Unit Trust Constitution whereby only SAS chairman could approve to buy or sell of SAS share.

Former Sabah CM does not has the authority at all.

Salleh was former SAS chairman and why he keep quiet on this? He should reveal all the SAS documents that he had signed and what share he bought and disposed. What UMNO so afraid to reveal the truth to the public beside slandering against Yong with only forged tongue?

It's proof how pathetic and incompetent of UMNO government which is sux big time. What a shame on such stupid UMNO government running by a bunch of monkey!

  38. when Yong Teck Lee was Sabah Chief Minister, he is the one who approved a share swap deal..

Let us give Yong Teck Lee the best gift of his political career. Let us send him back packing to Likas. because that will be where he will be most of the time. let us tell Yong Teck Lee that we do not condone what he did when he was Chief Minister. he will not be able to return what was stolen from us, but at least we can tell him what we think of him by rejecting him in the next GE..
