Its information chief Chong Pit Fah said the ministry concerned should have looked into every aspect to ensure the event does not bring inconvenience to the people especially motorists.
"Motorists were caught in traffic snarl and it took them more than an hour to reach the city centre, which normally take 10 minutes," he said.
"The State government organised Tour of Borneo Bicycle Race has caused a massive traffic congestion unlike the recent Bersih 3.0 sit-in protest which did not hinder traffic flow in the State capital.
Chong further said that he received complaints of the traffic jam from motorist using the road between Tuaran and Kinarut.
He went on citing another example of poor management by the state governmnent of the recently held MSAM 2012 at Likas Sports Complex at Likas where many visitors complained of being issued parking summonses.
He said the closure of parking lots in front of the Indoor Badminton Stadium while the bigger parking lots in front of the Lawn Bowls Arena were taken up to accommodate exhibitors.
"Visitors were therefore forced to park their cars at the road sides but ended up being issued parking summonses.
Chong said the people would not be burdened with such inconveniences if the State Government is competent.
So that what caused the massive traffic the other day.
