Wee Ka Siong replaces local Sabahan as Sabah MCA state liaison committee chairman

KUALA LUMPUR - MCA deputy president Datuk Wee Ka Siong has been appointed as the party's state liaison committee chairman for Sabah, taking over the helm from current Sabah state liaison chairman Wilfred Yong Chen Leong.

The appointment of Wee alongside with the appointment of Datuk Seri Lim Chin Fui and Datuk Lim Ban Hong for Negeri Sembilan and Malacca respectively were announced by party president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai after chairing the party's central committee meeting at Wisma MCA today.

Liow told reporters that the trio's appointments to those three states were part of the party's ongoing transformation and reshuffling programme.
