No place for Sabah, S'wak in 'Malay' M'sia

‘Non-Malays will always play second fiddle to the Malays.’  - Mahdzir: Political power must stay with Malays

Odin Tajué: Mahdzir Khalid, your pronouncements not only clearly show you have no regard at all for East Malaysia, but that you are also totally unfit to be education minister.

You said, inter alia, "Umno is the one who formed and built this country, with the support of MCA and MIC." That ‘country' was Malaya and not Malaysia. Since you cannot differentiate between the two, you are clearly no education minister material.

But this disregard for Sabah and Sarawak is nothing new and, therefore, is not surprising. Right from the time the idea of Malaysia itself was mooted, there was never any intention to regard the two sovereign states as equal partners but merely as colonies to be subjugated and fleeced.

You talk of the need to respect what has been agreed on vis-à-vis the federal constitution never mind what exactly were agreed on - when it is to the advantage of the Malays.

But you at Umno, right from Tunku Abdul Rahman himself and his time, have treated the celebrated 18-point/20-point Malaysia Agreements as mere pieces of paper containing words only meant to deceive Sabah and Sarawak into agreeing to come together with Malaya and Singapore to form Malaysia, and that the documents need not be recognised and respected because doing so would essentially be disadvantageous to the Malays.

You, Mahdzir, have further clearly illustrated your despicable character, that you are unfit to be a leader in the government of multi-racial, multi-religious Malaysia with your recent statement regarding Christians.

That you have offered no apology for your bigoted statement confirms your arrogance, gaucherie, indecency and unfitness. But even if you had offered an apology, it would have been meaningless, as it would most certainly not have been a sincere one.
