RCI plea a window dressing?

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) Youth Chief Edward Dagul said PBS president Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan’s remarks on urging the Federal government to setting up the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) for the perennial PTI issue is confusing.

"Why is he (Pairin) making a plea to the authorities when he is the Sabah head of the sub-committee for the illegal immigrant? " he questioned.


Window dressing to appease public

"After the appointment by the CM last month, many viewed it as a means to shut Pairin up. The committee seems to be a mere window dressing to appease the public.  Why else would Pairin make the plea on PBS’s behalf yet again? One would have thought that the announcement be made as the head of the State committee, after deliberating on all the various findings and recommendations, if any. The request should have been made at an inter-governmental State-Federal level and not at an inter-party PBS-UMNO level," says Edward.

"Another question that lingers in the mind is why did Pairin state that the RCI must be set up next year 2012 and not as soon as possible? The common man on the street in Sabah knows how severe the problem has become and if Pairin is serious, then he should demand for the setting up of the RCI now, for the betterment of Malaysians in Sabah.

"The “friendly” request further suggests that Pairin is backing out from his earlier 2009 “ultimatum” that “that the federal government must act and resolve the illegal immigrant problem by 2012”.

"This matter should be accorded top priority and the almost nonchalant manner Tan Sri Pairin made the announcement has once again made us question his true motives. As for SAPP Youth, we have been consistent in asking for the setting up of the RCI and have even embarked on a 100,000 signature campaign throughout the State earlier this year. This “mother of all threats” issue is of great concern to Sabahans and we again stress that the RCI is the only way to resolve this matter.

    Indeed Pairin is useless for the KDM! This is the last chance Pairin should Show his sincererity to the people of Sabah. Because of his pull out from BN in 1990 worsen the PTI problems in Sabah, when Mahathir and his gangs implemented the Projek IC Mahathir.

    Yeah, I think we can use the "Halau or send back the PTI to their homeland. Revoke all the ICs they have obtain during the project Mahathir. Thats the best solution. The question is , can we implement it since the authority is in the hands of those who have plan the scandal.

    Kenapa masih kena tunggu lagi selagi masalah PATI makin bertambah dan makin tegang keadaannya. Adakah lebih baik jika ditubuhkan serta merta untuk menyelesaikan masalah? Permintaan RCI telah lama dibuat tetapi sehingga kini kerajaan masih tidak bertindak.

    Permintaan telah lama dimohon tetapi kerajaan masih gagal melaksanakan tugas untuk menubuhkan RCI. Ini memberi isyarat bahawa kerajaan tidak ikhlas untuk meneylesaikan masalah PATI yang penduduk Sabahan hadapi.

    Adakah kerajaan persekutuan mempunyai perancangan yang lain selain RCI? Seharus dikemukakan jika ada supaya mendapat bantuan dan sokongan dari semua golongan.

    Apa dah terjadi dengan team Pairin & KM? Tiada perkembangan selama ini, adalah tidak berkeupayaan untuk mencari kaedah yang lebih berkesan untuk menyelesaikan masalah PATI, jika tidak, tubuhkan RCI serta merta.

    Falinda, not anymore. He no longer the KDM "Huguan Siou". He is now KDM "Huguan Talou" which mean "Pemimpin Penakut" in Malay and "Coward Leader" in English. What is the point of continuing our support to someone who "super coward leader", ineffective, old jerk, who hide behind the great umno suprimo party only to retain his post as TKM and take his allowance every month to live a luxurious way of life. please, if anyone here has the balls and guts to reply me, state your list about pairin contribution to the rakyat from the day 1 he and his PBS party remarried umno. Please la.. wake up... everyone know what happen when a man married many wives. even with one wife, man still burdened with super heavy problem. Try getting divorce and make friend to SAPP and PR instead of married them. U'll live a joyful way of life.

    Kalau tidak juga kena tubuhkan RCI tahun depan, memang ada yang tidak kenalah ni. Jadi cacing kepanasan sudah mereka2 yang terlibat. Mereka akan buat apa saja untuk halang isu ini disiasat.

    Ini lar cabaran yang besar untuk Pairin untuk membuktikan kebolehan dan kesanggupan untuk menyelesaikan masalah PATI. Jika tidak, tidak hairan jika Pairin disingkir di PRU13.

    RCI sepatutnya sudah ditubuhkan beberapa tahun yang lalu jika kerajaan komited ke atas penyelesaian masalah PATI. tapi sebaliknya makin banyak pula kedengaran isu2 pemberian IC kepada warga asing.

    Pairin dipilih kerana sdh terbukti pairin ini hanya jagoh kalau bercakap tapi guntalou untuk merealisasikan ap yg dicakapnya, Hanya itulah kebolehan pairin. Pemimpin2 seperti Bernard dan Maksimus macam tikus yg takutkan kuccing. Apa lagi Masidi dan Musa . Sementara itu para pemimpin UMNO yang asal PTI goyang kaki yang penting wang ringgit sentiasa mengalir masuk poket serta boleh dapat gundek PTI banyak2.

    Cadangan RCI ini sebenarnya sudah dicadangkan oleh PBRS dahulu, sekarang PBS meneruskan usaha untuk memastikan RCI ini dapat dilaksanakan. Ini bukannya mainan semata-mata seperti dakwaan SAPP Edward Dagul.

    Tidak apalah yang penting PBS mencuba menyuarakan perkara sebegini. Selagi BN kerajaan selagi itulah PBS akan cuba membantu rakyat untuk masalah utama seperti PATI dan masalah Tanah adat ini. Harap BN akan dapat menyelesaikan masalah sebegini.

    Kalau PBS boleh selesaikan, kenapa sudah berpuluh tahun dia dalam pasukan kerajaan tapi tiada satu isupun yang dia boleh selesaikan? Inilah akibatnya kalau hanya pentingkan wang dan kekayaan untuk keluarga dan sdra maranya. No way, kepercayaan rakyat sudah terhakis sejuta peratus!
