Pairin Forgets KDMs Suffered

Peter Marajin
The glowing tribute by PBS President, Joseph Pairin Kitingan, to current Chief Minister Musa Aman does not go down well with Sabahans at large.

The Kadazandusun community who more often than not, marginalised by Musa's UMNO-led government. Either Pairin must have forgotten, or he is just too detached from the reality.

Pairin must ‘compensate’ for insulting Jeffrey

Raymond Tombung

An alleged 'spiritual insult' against his brother Jeffrey Kitingan may have set back the Kadazandusun community leader and deputy chief minister Joseph Pairin.

KOTA KINABALU: The Kadazandusun community’s Huguan Siou (paramount keader) Joseph Pairin Kitingan must pay a “sogit”(compensation) to his younger brother Jeffrey for embarrassing him, claims a veteran political leader.

Kitingan feud continues by proxy

Raymond Tombung

Observers are disappointed that a response to Jeffrey’s allegations has not come directly from Pairin

KOTA KINABALU: The feuding Kitingan brothers have apparently decided to use proxies to continue with their political sparring.

Joseph Pairin’s outburst against Jeffrey on Sunday and the younger brother’s retort on Monday were both widely reported by the local printed media on the following days, and readers swamped the newsstands today for the next round.

Siang malam Dr Jeffrey fikirkan untung-nasib rakyat Sabah, Pairin sanggup kata demikian? kata pembantu Jeffrey

Pairin should pay "sogit" if he uttered word "mendiang" on Jeffrey

By Mr Fredoline Edwin Lojingki

PENAMPANG : As a veteran activist of Sabah issues, i would like to advise my old friend Joseph Pairin Kitingan, the President of Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) who is also the Huguan Siou of the Kadazandusuns, to consider paying "sogit" to his younger bother Dr Jeffrey, if indeed he has uttered the word "mendiang" (the late) on his brother.

Tit for Tat...the Kitingan Brothers

By Datuk Jeffrey Kitingan

I called this Press Conference in response to what my brother, Tan Sri Pairin, was quoted as having said in Keningau yesterday and which appeared in the front page of the Daily Express today.

Firstly, I need to categorically state that what was said by my brother are all lies and half-truths.  Secondly, when he refer to “them” he shows his desperation to cling to power and his fear of losing power.

Pairin's statement brash and irresponsible

KOTA KINABALU, Nov 2: The Deputy Chief Minister cum Minister of Rural Development Datuk Seri Panglima Joseph Pairin Kitingan's recent statement that all illegal crossings along the railway track will be immediately closed is both brash and irresponsible, said Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) Treasurer Dullie Hj Marie.

"Don't penalize the kampong folks for the government's faults. If the government made the initial mistake in allowing all these crossings, then why now punish the kampong folks for using these roads.

"Many are of the opinion that this project costing about RM360 million, was done hastily for the sake of doing it and without proper thought. It is impractical to have these tracks running through densely populated areas. Have they actually thought of the security aspect and impossibility of manning all crossings?" He questioned.

KOTA KINABALU, July 29, 2011: The Solidariti Belia Sabah (SBS) claimed that Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan has forsaken the KadazanDusunMurut (KDM) community in order to please his UMNO political masters.
