SNAP’s recent re-emergence to reclaim its place in the Sarawak political arena has sparked numerous allegations and prejudgements on the motives of the prime movers of the party’s re-vitalisation.

What was a member of the Malaysian royal household, allegedly from Selangor, doing at a screening of the sex video at Shangri-la hotel?

The story surrounding the Carcosa smut video has been retold so many times by so many people. Before Carcosa there was Flamingo. Before Flamingo there was even a private viewing for five people at the Shangri-La hotel.

I think those five people at the Shangrila screenimg should be hauled up for questioning. At each of these viewings, the main protagonists were present – Shazryl Eskay Abdullah and Rahim Tamby Chik.

The Malaysian chapter of the corruption watchdog Transparency International (TI-M) has refuted the claim that election handouts are not bribes.

"This is especially during campaigning. Unfortunately there are no adequate laws to deal with those things, especially when it comes to cash and sewing machines," said TI-Malaysia president Paul Low.

IT engineer Lim Ming Leong has not watched the purported sex video of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim but he is convinced it is not the Opposition Leader. He insists that the man in the video is an impersonator.

PETALING JAYA, March 26 — A coalition of Christian groups came together today to demand action against the home minister and the government over the defacement of Bahasa Malaysia bibles, escalating the religious row ahead of Sarawak elections.

The spokesman for the Coalition of Malaysian Christians, Ronnie Klassen from Sabah, said today that Christian groups planned to lodge a string of police reports in different states. He had lodged a report at the police contingent headquarters here today.

Radioactive iodine in sea-water off Japan’s crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant rose to 1,850 times the usual level from 1,250 times measured yesterday, Japan’s nuclear safety agency said today.

Separately, senior agency official Hidehiko Nishiyama said leakage from reactor vessels was likely to have been the cause for high levels of radiation found in water that has accumulated in turbine buildings.

IT was a most unusual way of exposing a sex video to incriminate a political enemy. Such videos are often sent to media companies in envelopes or they just pop up on the Internet. It is also rare for anyone to claim responsibility for such gutter politics.

Does it feel like a bunch of gangsters are running this country?

The most recent act by Umno to try and kill off Anwar with a lowly sex video moves me to write this article. Because it increasingly feels like we are living in a country run by gangsters. What characterises gangsters? Is there any difference between what gangsters do and what Umno is doing?

Use of force, fear, bribes, threats, violence, deceit, unchallengeable positions, indulgence, and parasitic existence and not worrying about appearances would be a reasonable answer to the first question.

To answer the second question “Is there any difference?” I will examine how Umno performs in many of these dimensions to answer that question.

In the four-minute footage titled 'Jamilah's business in Canada is successful because she is good' , uploaded by a Youtube user identified as therealsarawak on Tuesday, Taib explained that Jamilah's property business was founded 20 or 30 years ago.

Tham said Pairin was now floundering around, accusing others for allowing Umno to enter state politics and overthrow his party in 1994.

I was contacted by a very close associate since Mac 15, 2011 to meet with him regarding something important. On Monday, Mac 21, at about 12.20pm, I confirmed that I had time to meet him.

They are convinced that the man in the 21-minute long recording is Anwar but refused to divuge details as to how they got hold of the sex video.

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Malacca chief minister and Umno veteran Rahim Thamby Chik today said that Datuk T stood for “Datuk Trio” – himself, businessman Shazryl Eskay Abdullah and Perkasa’s Shuib Lazim.
He said that they were the ones who had broadcast a sex video allegedly involving Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim to the media on Monday.
